About 200 of free-minded people gathered on the territory of European Extreme Sport centre ?SHAMBHALA? to compete in Paragliding World Cup. All together, all on the place of take off, in the sky and then on the place of landing. People enjoing flights, communicating with each other. So different, beautiful and smart people meet for one week to get acquainted with each other, for racing in the air, for living independent life.
The quantity of reported pilots is 125, there are 13 women among them. The task was a ?race to goal?. The window opened at 13.50 and closed at 14.50. The task distance was 65,2 km, with a validation distance of 30 km. The race started at 14.30. 123 pilots flew above the minimum distance and 67 pilots reached goal. The route was along the mountains, not too hard but interesting enough. All pilots liked it even those who didn?t reach a goal. The winners of the first task: 1. Mathias Rothen from Switzerland 2.
